It is with great sadness that the School has learned of the passing of Mr Wong Chai-lok on 27 April 2022. Mr Wong had been a part-time teacher with HKU SPACE since 1981. 香港大學專業進修學院護理師生與樂善堂攜手抗疫 同心為長者暫託中心提供更優質的護理服務

(香港－2022年4月15日）香港大學專業進修學院欣然宣布，為肩負社會責任，同心抗疫，於今年4月1日開始，全面支援由九龍樂善堂營運的兩間長者暫託中心。學院派出7名資深護士導師及24位現正修讀第三年註冊護士課程的準註冊護士學生（即現任為登記護士），於兩間長者暫託中心提供更優質的前線護理服務，務求令長者可以得到更全面的照顧。學院註冊護士高級文憑為香港歷史最悠久，14 年內已經孕育出300多個註冊護士畢業生，服務社會。 第5波疫情肆虐，導致本港的公立醫院床位緊張。早前社會福利署分別於石硤尾公園體育館及灣仔港灣道體育館設立長者暫託中心，接收確診2019冠狀病毒病，症狀輕微的長者，為他們提供護理照顧服務，減輕公營醫療負擔。 長者暫託中心的現場環境及醫療設備雖然有所局限，但無阻學院及樂善堂對優化長者 ... more 香港大學專業進修學院護理師生與樂善堂攜手抗疫 同心為長者暫託中心提供更優質的護理服務
