The School was awarded UNSDG “Recognised Organisation” by the Green Council for Second Consecutive Year

The School has once again been honored with the “Recognised Organisation” award at the UNSDG Achievement Awards Hong Kong 2025, hosted by the Green Council. This marks the second consecutive year we have received this prestigious accolade which recognises our leadership in integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into every facet of our work. Dr Bruce Cheung, Head of the College of Life Sciences and Technology of HKU SPACE, accepted the award on behalf of the School at a ceremony held on 4 September 2025.

This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to “ESG: Committing to Corporate Citizenship”—a key strategic direction of our 2025-30 Strategic Plan. As we move forward, we will promote sustainable practices, foster a culture of respect and inclusivity, and ensure good governance and transparency.

These efforts are not just about accolades; they are about living our values and ensuring a lasting positive impact on our community and beyond.
