Dr Sherly Chen (Programme Leader of Postgraduate Diploma in English for Global Careers)

Dr Chen Sherly holds a Doctor Degree in Applied Language Sciences from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and currently serves as Programme Manager at the School of Professional and Continuing Education of The University of Hong Kong. Holding professional teaching qualifications from both Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland, she brings over a decade of experience in language education, programme management, and academic administration. Her expertise includes language teaching and learning, curriculum design, quality assurance, and educational leadership. Dr Chen specialises in pedagogical innovation, cross-cultural education, and the development of industry-responsive programmes. She is committed to advancing excellence in higher education and lifelong learning through the integration of academic scholarship and professional practice.
