除了律師，其實法律行政人員（Legal Executive / Paralegal，簡稱LE）都可以出席聆訊。他們可以代表律師行，按法庭實務指示出席不超過15分鐘（高院為3分鐘）的內庭聆案官聆訊。LE通常都有一定年資，熟悉法律程序，而即使你有更高學歷，即法學士（LL.B.）甚至法律博士（LL.M JD），而沒有法律文憑（DLS）、法律高級文憑（HDLS）或加入英國法律行政人員（ILEX）協會會員，都不能夠擔任LE。
