Highlights

This programme can be taken upon successful completion of the Certificate in French (Introductory) or an equivalent programme of 110-130 hours. It enables students to consolidate their language foundation and build on their grammar. As a result, students will feel increasingly confident in their communicative ability. By the end of the programme, students should be able to talk about topics such as families and friends, leisure activities, food and drink, past and future situations. They should also be able to understand the main ideas when listening and reading. They can also write simple texts, e.g. postcards and emails.

This course covers the content of the A2 level in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
