The School signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) Continuing Education School at the Zhihui Port in Taicang, Suzhou, on 4 March, marking the official launch of deep cooperation in the field of education. Both parties will fully leverage their advantages to build an integrated cultivation model of "cloud classrooms + practical bases," providing seamless academic pathways for Mainland students by combining theoretical learning with industry practice.

The Continuing Education School of NPU, leveraging the university's strengths in disciplines such as aerospace, naval architecture and marine engineering, and artificial intelligence, has been committed to cultivating high-quality applied talents, with its professional offerings and training models aligned with national strategic needs.

HKU SPACE has unique advantages in professional fields, continuing education, and international course integration. The school excels with its flexible academic system, international curriculum, and extensive industry network, aiming to nurture versatile talents with a global perspective.

This strategic cooperation is expected to generate significant synergies by integrating high-quality educational resources from both parties, enhancing teaching quality, and providing robust talent support for the Belt and Road Initiative. This strong partnership will serve as a paradigm for cross-border continuing education cooperation, laying a solid foundation for future extensive talent reserves and industry-academia collaboration.
