The global demand for new pilots is expected to keep rising over the next two decades. Since 2006, HKU SPACE is providing different aviation pilot related programmes to provide students with an understanding of the knowledge for the Private Pilot Licence (PPL) training requirements and the underlying concept of aircraft operations. Over the years, more than 100 graduates from HKU SPACE programmes have joined different local and international airlines to start their career as professional aircraft pilots. Through the use of state-of-the-art motion-based flight simulator, interactive classroom training and the latest Virtual Reality (VR) technologies training, students will be able to strengthen their knowledge and aircraft control skill.
