  • Dr. Monica Tang (Senior IT Manager of The University of Hong Kong)

Dr. Monica Tang

Dr Monica Tang is a seasoned IT management professional. She is experienced in managing HR system projects, digital transformation and data analytics. She is now working in the capacity of Senior IT Manager managing HR systems at the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Tang is also Adjunct Associate Professor in Hong Kong Baptist University. She also teaches at HKU SPACE and HKU ICB. She is a frequent speaker on data analytics and AI topics to promote organizational sustainability.

Many organisations now focus on sustainability goals and environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments. Human Resource Management (HRM), as a strategic partner in all organisations, can leverage AI and HR Analytics to make evidence-based decisions, promote diversity and inclusion and enhance employee well-being to advance organisational sustainability and ESG success.

This seminar will give a brief introduction to ESG concepts. The trends of how AI and HR Analytics can be applied in HRM to advance ESG commitments will also be discussed. Case studies will be shared to illustrate the importance of AI and HR Analytics to HRM and organisational sustainability.
