Shao Kangjie (1012-1077), also called Shao Yong, was a renowned Yijing scholar in the Song Dynasty. He was said to be "a master of the Yijing numerology, who could calculate the success or failure of things, and the misfortune of people without the slightest mistake". He is the author of the book "Huangji jingshi", which uses the "64 Hexagrams Circular Diagram" and calculate time by using "Yuanhui yunshi", and constructs a cosmic evolutionary process. In this talk, Dr. Lo will introduce Shao's ideology of the cosmo and explain how to calculate the trigrams.
