    • Daniel Lau (Mr)

    Daniel Lau

    Mr. LAU Kwun-Hung, Daniel, is a Council Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences (HKIMLS). He is a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist Part I (HKMLTB, MLT Part I) with over 16 years of experience working in central laboratories of major public-listed and private hospitals in Hong Kong. Mr Lau awarded the membership of Character Scientist (CSci) elected by Science Council, UK. Mr Lau also is the Fellow of HKIMLS cum Council member and CLSI membership. Mr. Lau has completed numerous translational research and commercialization projects, with a focus on thyroid dysfunction, cervical cancer virus distribution, autoimmune diseases, and cancer research. He published Hong Kong's first literature on thyrocardiac disease (Thyrotoxicosis-induced cardiac disease). He holds a BSc in Biological Science and MSc in Biomedical Science from Edinburgh Napier University and is an alumni of the Higher Certificate in Medical Laboratory Science (HTC) programme offered by HKU SPACE.

    Ms To Wing Shan Sandy

    Ms Sandy To is a part-time instructor for the HKU SPACE Yoga Teacher Training Certificate course, possessing many years of yoga teaching and practice experience. Ms To holds multiple certifications, including E-RYT500 and Level 2 Aerial Yoga. She has won numerous championships in rhythmic yoga and artistic partner yoga competitions and has received several awards for her outstanding contributions to the yoga community. She has taught at several renowned universities and institutions in Hong Kong, focusing on community building and the transformative power of yoga. Her philosophy centres on positivity and pragmatism, inspiring others through her own practice.
