Dr. Lam Yat-fai is the Chief Data Scientist of Strategic Data Science Limited and the Adjunct Professor of Finance, City University of Hong Kong. He graduated from City University of Hong Kong with a Doctor of Business Administration degree and holds the CFA, CAIA, CAMS, CFE, FRM, PRM, MCSE and MCNE professional designations, specializing in the areas of machine learning, cryptocurrencies and anti-money laundering. Before becoming a financial technologist, Dr. LAM worked for bank regulator, international bank and sovereign wealth fund.

MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice (Oxford Brookes University)
The MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice provides integrative approach to learning that enables participants to translate the theoretical knowledge and concepts underpinning coaching and mentoring into their own practice. Its central aim is to give opportunities for the expansion of knowledge and understanding of theories and then to relate that knowledge to the skills and approaches necessary to develop professionally as a coach or mentor. Ringo Chan has extensive experience in programme development and administrative management of both full-time and part-time programmes ranging from sub-degree to Master degree level in finance. He obtained his EdD from the University of Leicester. He is a financial writer at China Daily. He also serves as the Honorary Flight Lieutenant of the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps.

Dr. Chris Nguyen, MSc, PhD
Dr. Chris Nguyen is an AI Research Engineer at FinCatch, specialising in knowledge graphs and AI agents for financial data and event driven equity analysis. FinCatch offers platform to monitor financial markets, refresh context, run recurring research tasks and support forward-looking analysis so users can move from one-off questions to continuous workflows. Dr. Nguyeun builds systems that transform real time financial events into structured intelligence for investment research. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering (Scientific Computation) from HKUST and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from ENSMA (France).

Dr Chan is an experienced trainer and consultant in the field of finance. He has been teaching numerous courses at the postgraduate level and providing consultancy to different financial institutions. He obtained his doctoral degree in finance at the University of Mississippi. Prior to returning to Hong Kong, Dr Chan had served as a research analyst and adjunct professor in the US.
