本課程通過以學生為中心的學習活動，如會話及寫作練習，及閱讀各種英語文本和聆聽不同英語對話，為學生建立初級英語應用技能。學生在完成課程後，將能進行基礎英語會話和寫作，更有信心使用英語進行交流。
 

The programme aims to equip students with advanced English linguistic knowledge and skills through language practice in student-centred learning activities such as speaking, writing, reading and listening to a variety of semi-authentic and authentic English texts.  Upon successful completion of the Programme, students are expected to communicate proficiently in English.

「行政人員證書(中日/日中翻譯)」課程，為具高日語水平的人士培養中日/日中翻譯技能。此課程的翻譯教材會集中於三個範疇:商業實用文、出版及電影。學員亦可從各方面學習翻譯的基礎知識及透過討論及學習不同的翻譯文本，有助提升學員的日語能力。

This programme provides systematic training in translation for those who already have degree or equivalent qualifications. It aims at giving students the confidence and competence to deal with translation work at a close to professional level in different settings and contexts. Students should be able to apply the linguistic and cultural concepts learned to the practical tasks of translation and make improvements in translations done by people and/or artificial intelligence after completion of the programme.
 

The programme also provides a solid foundation for those who plan to study for a higher qualification in translation in the future: holders of the Postgraduate Certificate in Translation can articulate to Postgraduate Diploma in Translation with exemption from the first five modules of the Postgraduate Diploma in Translation programme offered by HKU SPACE.

本課程的對象為西班牙語初學者或對西班牙語只有初步認識的學員。它涵蓋了一系列日常生活的主題和情境，發展學員的口語、聽力、閱讀和寫作四種技能，配合相應的語法、詞彙和發音練習。在課程結束時，學生應能理解並使用基本的日常短語來介紹自己，提出並回答有關個人基本資訊的問題，以及處理一般日常生活情況的情景，例如購物、外出用餐、談論他們的工作、家庭和興趣等。

This programme aims to equip students with the professional communication skills and English proficiency to excel in both general business contexts and specifically in the industry of financial services. It is designed to enhance students’ overall English proficiency through contextualised teaching and scenario-based materials. This programme also lays a solid foundation for graduates to proceed to an advanced diploma in professional communication, business management or similar subjects, thereby providing the means to articulate and achieve higher qualifications at university, and improving graduates’ prospect of career advancement.

This programme aims to introduce to students the lives and achievements of some of the most influential Japanese women in different fields from ancient to modern day Japan. Students will also gain an understanding of the changing role of woman in Japanese society.

本課程旨在讓學員有系統地掌握香港非華語幼兒中文聽説學與教的理論。除教授有關非華語幼兒學習中文的理論知識外，本課程通過介紹中文第二語言的聽説教學理論，培養學員對非華語幼兒學習中文的研究興趣、並能根據所學理論，編寫教案及探討相關的中文第二語言學與教議題。

本課程透過以學生為中心的分級學習活動（例如說、寫、讀和聽各種英語材料）為學生提供英語用法和技能培養的入門練習。成功完成課程後，學生應具備入門程度的口語和寫作能力，並能自信地用英語進行溝通。

本課程通過對各種主題進行反覆的聽、講、讀、寫訓練，讓學員瞭解學術文章的構造，使用韓語表達意見、說明理由、申述論據及參與討論和辯論等。
