Seminars (12 hours):

In seminars, students will be asked to form small groups to discuss, critically examine and present an assigned topic, as well as working on an extended research project. Before each seminar, students are required to finish assigned readings (usually two book chapters and/or a journal article) and to do extensive individual research after class. The seminars allow students to engage in peer discussions, to develop critical and analytical skills. Students will explore a variety of skills in analysing images and media texts.
