Overview

The Cambridge English Skills Test (CEST) is a flexible, computer-based English language assessment designed to evaluate specific language skills efficiently. Offered at HKU SPACE, the test allows candidates to take individual modules based on their needs rather than completing a full exam.

This makes it a practical option for learners who require targeted certification for academic, professional, or personal purposes.

To better understand how the test works, you can view the official introduction video from Cambridge:

This short video explains the modular structure, online delivery, and practical uses of the test. It highlights that the test is on-demand, computer-based, and designed to assess all four language skills efficiently.
