It is with great sadness that the School has learned of the passing of Dr Lee Shiu on 29 May 2021.

Dr Lee was closely associated with HKU SPACE. He was conferred the title of Honorary Fellow of HKU SPACE in 2015 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the School and to the community. He served as a member of the HKU SPACE Community College Advisory Council (2002 – 2018). His passion for philanthropy was shown by his many generous donations to the School which included the Lee Shiu Building at the Kowloon East Campus and the establishment of the Jennie Mui Lee English Village to help students to improve their English.

We shall remember Dr Lee’s spirit and dedication to higher education with great fondness.  We extend our deepest condolences to Dr Lee’s family.
