The Certificate for Module (Private Equity and IPO) aims to provide students with essential knowledge in Private Equity markets and Initial Public Offering (IPO). It will discuss various issues such as the development of Private Equity markets and IPO in different regions; the structuring and executing Private Equity and IPO; the considerations and processes involved in Private Equity and IPO transactions, updated legal and regulatory development in Hong Kong. Real-life cases will also be discussed. After completing the programme, students can understand the processes and contemporary issues related to Private Equity and IPO.

Topics include: an overview of the financing process, the pros and cons of using financial ratios and interpretations of financial statements, as well as a review of the shortcoming of capital budgeting tools.
